We had the Huber boys over this past week to work on all the electrical stuff... moving the lines and wires and adding more to avoid any potential problems (some underground for the island). Here is our kitchen as it sits now. You can see the can lighting in its early stages. We are putting 8-10 can lights in the kitchen. We are also putting 2 can lights in the newly added pot shelf.
In the next two pictures, Kevin and Ryan cut the holes for the can lights. Pieces of drywall and insulation are everywhere! All the dust make the pictures appear as if it is snowing!
We also decided to put more lighting in the dining/desk area and the front room -- six can lights in each room. That sounds like a whole heap of can lights...
Like I said, there are holes in my walls, holes in my ceilings, wires hanging out of holes, insulation all over the floor... It's a MESS!! But, each project brings the end nearer!!

Erika it is looking good! Any progress though messy is good! Can't wait to see the finish product. Tell Kevin way to go!
